I am interested in understanding the correlates of bird communities in urban areas, mainly urban green spaces. We investigated the effects of landscape and local scale factors in explaining the variation in bird community characteristics. We are now focusing on the role of urban predators and other less studied factors in shaping the bird assemblages. Additionally, we are interested in understanding the strategies of birds that help them to survive in cities and ever changing forest areas.
