My research focuses primarily on the foraging and breeding ecology of birds related to optimality and prey-predator interactions.  The prey-predator interactions of waterbirds, nesting characteristics and population characteristics of different species of birds are investigated.  Further, my work focuses on owls pertaining to the role of biocontrol agent against rodent pests and the behaviour of rodents.
